Welcome aboard!
You certainly strove to make an informed decision. You’ll need that in the time before us.

Welcome. And not to back burner your topic of discussion but this is a vanity and we are in the midst of a “close” election.
We are not so worried by the numbers, we know that on election day 2004 Zogby was telling the American public a lie that Kerry would get greater than 315 electoral votes. It was a lie designed to suppress Republican voter turn out.
Still, we are busy concerned with the current campaign. We have tackled the media and academics’ lies about the Bush administration. As this point in time, it won’t be a turning point for the election and may best be suited after the victor has been called and the public/historians start to sort out Bush’s legacy.
Considering the numerous terrorist attacks we faced after the 1993 WTC bombing, and the lack of such attacks since 9-11 (although a number of plots were uncovered) I would say that the war on terror has been a success for US interests worldwide. England, Spain, and elsewhere suffered attacks. And in one case they cut and ran because of them.

What I shall never understand is how Bush could’ve kept quiet all these years without ever defending or explaining himself. I believe that it only made matters worse. Even many of his supporters became frustrated by his silence and had to ask themselves if some of the accusations thrown at him may not have had some truth to them.
