You did a great job over those 20 years Jay. God bless and keep you.

I have told my kitty angel, Belle Starr, to be waiting for your Mr. Bill at Rainbow's Ridge. I had Belle(a silver tabby Manx, rumpie) for almost 17 years and she died of kidney failure in the morning and my Pop died that evening of the same day.

Belle Starr's loss hurt longer.

Get a new kitty soon, Mr. Bill would want you to rescue one sooner than later, plus it will help YOU.

God bless you and Mr. Bill.

My current cat is a rescue tuxedo named Mister Popps, he used to live in a gopher hole. Mister must be spelled out because of his attire(tux). (smile)

I had a part Husky named Hombre also residing at Rainbow Ridge, I have asked him to share his frisbee with your Boo.

Pets are something special aren't they?

Jay, Thank you for this thread!

On Sunday, we lost my baby Ed. He was a 13 year old chocolate lab, golden retriever mix. The past two days have been Hell. All I want to do is cry.

There is no one that gets excited when I walk in the door anymore, and no one that follows me around hoping I drop something on edible on the floor. There is no one that loves me absolutely, as much as Ed does.

As he kissed (licked) me that last time on Sunday, I just hugged him and cried.

I miss him so much, so I know what you are feeling today.

Goodbye Mr. Bill, and Goodbye Ed. Maybe they will find each other in heaven, and jointly send a sign of love to both of us.

Take care, and let yourself cry.

Ed's Mom,

Tracy

I bet everyone of us that have known the true love of an animal here have shed a few tears today. I know I have (am).

Some will say I’ve led a sheltered life, but having my beautiful calico put to sleep was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. My thoughts are with you. Godspeed, Mr. Bill.

My condolences on the passing on Mr. Bill. ((((Hugs))))

Had to put down a beloved male orange tiger cat by the name of Pumpkin about a month ago and hence my empathy. =^..^=

Thank You, You can never prepare for it, yet you know they are in a better place. Just wish it didn't hurt so darn much.

I remember going to look at the litter when he was born. I did not want a dog at the time, but my husbands buddy begged us to "just take a look". Out of the eight puppies, Ed came to me, crawled in my lap and cuddled. I fell in love with him that day, and never looked back. Someday, another dog may find me, and I hope I am able to feel that unconditional love just one more time. He grew to be around 100 lbs, but he still found a way to cuddle with me.

I better go, because for some reason my computer screen keeps getting really blurry.

What a gift you have been TO EACH OTHER.. twenty years. how lucky but it does NOT make it any easier, we all know that.

Please stay with him as he gets the shot. It goes quickly & it will do you good to see him not have pain & know the last hold & look was from you

Wonderful name. I loved Mr. Bill .. never saw him on TV show but a short video by same title.

RIP little furry bundle of Love..

thank you for sharing.. {{{{ Jay Thomas }}}

My sympathies. I know it hurts.

If it makes you feel any better, we of the Chan Clan believe in Cat Heaven, the place where all cats capable of love go after death. From your post, I feel certain that’s where your pet is now.
