A few weeks of being the media's punching bag is quite enough. Politicians deserve to be questioned, sure; but to expect them to be a glutton for punishment is going way too far.
Because once burned already? It’s not likely she would sway any pink liberals going on the msm so why not target Joe’s peers.
I think that these nations' state-controlled press and their leaders, dictators and tyrants would actually be more courteous and fair to her than our own American media.

She was not being interviewed and “trapped” by the likes of Katie Couric...but a parody of herself. It was a good gesture and showed that she could “take it”...and even laugh it off. Unlike interviews that the ultimate “get” would be for a Dem leaning (most) journalist to do a got ya piece on her. I think she’s doing fine. When she gets up to the podium she is blasting away, drawing large crowds and FOX has been showing these rallies lately.
I think the argument the liberals are making against Palin is laughingly rediculous. If this was a race between Obama and Palin instead of Obama and McCain/Palin, I have a sneaky feeling that Obama would be having a harder time of it now.
Right. Last night she was seen by millions of new eyes. Many of these viewers only know her from all the satire. She looked great and performed well . She was treated with the utmost respect by the shows creator. Of course that is not as good as going on network news shows like press the meet which no one watches.

Qualified - too? Incredible statement since Obama is the least qualified candidate of a major party in modern history. Palin has had executive experience which neither Obama, McCain or Biden have had. However McCain has led men in battle. Obama and Biden which have never run anything except their mouths.

So, asking legitimate questions is the same as The Inquisition? You mean if she is asked about her and Todd’s involvement with the Alaska Independent Party, a secessionist group whose founder has stated that he hates our government, that might be an Inquisition-type of question? I’d actually like to know the answer to that question:
“why do you support an anti-American secessionist group?”
How is that out of line? And by the comments I see here, anyone asking that question is then deemed a “leftist”? Seems like a convenient way to demonize all who question Gov. Palin. She may be our president, we have an obligation to ask questions, and she to answer them.

The McCain campaign would be committing political malpractice if they threw Sarah to the media dogs and bitches so they can salivate and prepare to take her out. Keep to the same game plan: local media, right-wing talk radio and interview with the likes of the Weeskly Standard, NRO, and possibly right wing bloggers. finally I think Sarah should go on Leno to follow up on her success on SNL.
Questions that assume facts not in evidence (or, in the case of your question, ''facts'' that have long since been debunked) are inherently prejudicial, thus inequitable by any definition. The lamestream media have proven themselves time and again to be far less than equitable when dealing with anyone except their cherished leftist buddies.
How is that question out of line? In the words of Louis Armstrong, who, when asked by a reporter, ''Mr. Armstrong, what is jazz, really?'', replied, ''Man, if you gotta ask, you'll never know.''
