She gave them a pass, required the participation of Republicans as part of her CYA action so that they would take the hit for the 2-1 negative opinion in the districts, then INSULTED the Bush administration. Not necessary. Uppity witch was a dumb-dumb and should have known better. If the bailout was so darn important, she could have passed it on her own last week with her own people and gotten the buck to ACORN.

I hope I don’t get flamed, but only when Goldman Sachs saw its share price fall last week did Treasury Secretary Paulson decide that the government “had” to bail out Goldman. Make no mistake about it, Paulson’s cronies at Goldman called him up and pleaded for government intervention. Screw Paulson and the Dems that run Goldman Sachs:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122266132599384845.html?mod=rss_markets_main

“Back in New York, the situation at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs was worsening rapidly. In the middle of the trading day, at about 2 p.m., Morgan Stanley CEO John Mack dispatched an email to employees: “What’s happening out here? It’s very clear to me — we’re in the midst of a market controlled by fear and rumors.” By the end of Wednesday, employees at Morgan Stanley and Goldman were shell-shocked. Morgan Stanley’s shares had fallen 24% to $21.75 while Goldman, the largest investment bank by market value, fell 14% to $114.50.

By Thursday, Messrs. Paulson and Bernanke decided that the fallout presented too great a threat to the financial system and the economy.”

Pelosi is dumber than a box of rocks. She should have counted her votes before she started letting her ‘RAT comrades off the hook.

Kerry all but said the same thing tonight on BOR tonight. He was actually ranting that the Republicans had pulled a "dixie", whatever that is, and said that the deal was it would be 50/50 deal

btw I think that 'dixie" term is part of the talking points about to be unleashed by the media, because he said it 3 times in a 2 minute interview.

They’ll vote for it next time around when their special interests are given their gimmes.

The Democrats will rewrite the bill, putting in everything they want, and it will pass without Republicans voting for it. Bush will sign it with a smile. Pelosi will say that she tried to be bipartisan, but unpatriotic Republicans acted in their own self interest. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if Pelosi made her speech to drive Republicans back out of the deal. Democrats will get the credit for saving the day, and Republicans will go down in flames. ...I’m just trying to prepare you for the possibility of disaster. It’s time to join forces, putting our differences behind us, and beat this leftist slime any way we can.

What was he doing, peeing in a cup?

Catchy tagline, you ought to write a jingle to go with it.

I got it.

RIght, and even if all Republicans voted no, it will still pass. Pelosi doesn’t need Republicans to pass her agenda or override a presidential veto.

Then Pelosi can blame the White House or Congressional Republicans for being partisan and not taking this crisis that affect all seriously.

It sounds like Pelosi and the Democrats are trying to sabotage all attempts to clean up the mortgage mess and to do in in a way that they place all the blame on the Republicans. When there was clearly no deal they announced to the MSM that there was a deal. They tried to get billions of dollars for groups like ACORN. The end result will be to cause the stock market to crash and the economy to decline and then blame the Republicans.

Well, who knows what Kerry meant by "Dixie" but it might be this:

This still has to get through the Senate. Will it be a rubber stamp or will the Reps get a backbone and threaten a “buster”????

And 70% of Americans that don’t agree with the bailout (and we know they aren’t all Republicans) can jump all over Nance and Barney. Except thats why they wanted the Republicans in it to begin with.
