Couple of more tidbits. Huckaby called into Rush today to clarify his stance on Mormons. Sounds like he wants to make peace. Also Mitt has left the dimocRAT convention. Destination???
Of the candidates that are qualified to be CinC at a moment’s notice, who would help McCain the most in Colorado?

I will crawl on broken glass to vote for McCain/Palin...This is a historic election. An African-American is in the Dem top spot. That needs to be considered. Two white guys as alternatives is a risky proposition.

    I think Palin would backfire.
PUMA's would see Palin much like they see Obama. Attractive, young, unproven, and getting the job for a reason other than experience. Never underestimate the "she's prettier than me" factor.
Too clever by half.

My son, the liberal (he calls it independent) lives in AK and really likes Palin. I was surprised at that. Maybe she needs to stay in AK for a while. It may go democrat because of Stevens getting the nod again.

The house cut is 30%? With as much action as this will get, I'd take 25%.

Palin is attractive but inexperienced Palin has held elective office for 16 years.
Sure the offices were local and state, and a stint on an energy commission, but she was elected nonetheless and it's far more experience than Obama.
She's also accomplished a lot in her brief 1 1/2 years as Governor.
