With a friend who works in the LA water district, I hear about Cal water constantly. We got 8” of rain last month and the landscape is dense and green. You got 6” of rain all last year and your ground is lousy for holding it. It’s different. Don’t you think I didn’t wish we could send you some with those fires of yours. We had too much and your need was desperate.

That sounds cool, a new type of murder, eh? Sounds interesting, maybe grisly!
34 books,hmm....I have yet to write my first, maybe one of these days. I may, I hope, be wrapping up the overseas chapters of my life this January, and then I'd like to come back to the U S of A for good. We'll see, looks good for 5 months from now. I'm checking out small towns to move to on the Internet right now. I'll love standing on the corner of some quiet little town in Americana, feeling that American breeze, listening to the quiet and peace.
Well good luck with the writing, and take it easy everyone, and cheers Soaring. Next time I'm passing by I'll rest a spell in the Lair!

Okay, your water sounds delicious. I drink the bottled type out here and not because it is upscale. It tastes much better than the crap that comes out of the spigot. They have these water cleansing plants out here. It processes some of the nasty stuff and they call it potable.

Annually we’re sent water quality reports for our town and the only real regular issue is it’s hard. I buy bottle water for the bottles; my town’s water tastes better. We’ve had a few droughts but nothing compared to yours.
What would the ramifications be if we learned to make it rain where we wanted?

Good Morning To the Lair
It's 76 right now..high humidity but nice out..I try to do anything outside before the heat of the day hits..(only 101 today).
This looks like a great place to be!
