I know how to handle the gas price thing, We put large sails on the trucks and use their much vaulted wind power! When the food (and everything else) runs short, everyone will know what the politicians have been doing and vote accordingly.

Actually I think it time the truckers just park their trucks until the gas price comes down and stays down, right in the middle of DC, thousands of them all at once!!!

That will certainly keep me busy. Especially being on scullery duty. LOL I think it is now done by contractors. And I believe that there are washing machines and dryers in the barracks. SO much for the tradition of clothes-stops and dryer rooms.
