Get this....He calls me, I answer ‘hello’, his reply is ‘hi’, and then he says “So, wassup?”
I finally realized it was futile telling him that he had called me...

It takes a while to get it right. You just have to remember your teen years and the slang you used. We did it to keep our folks in the dark...it didn’t work all that often...;o]

My grammar wasn’t much in to slang. When she was 65 she took out a 30yr loan on a house. The man who personal carried the loan was 80 and figured she would out last him and after that it wasn’t his problem.

The clouds and moisture from Dolly’s leading edge seem to have given me a case of the Slows. I didn’t really need a case. A bottle would have worked just fine. The cleverness in that line dictates against the assertion contained therein.

Did you see anything particularly neat? Our local museum has a Vietnam-era helicopter (big helicopter) in which a local man won the Congressional Medal of Honor for rescuing Marines under fire in a minefield.
