I had a dog that did that.
I have a Dachshund/Chihuahua mutt that does that. He'll wait outside the bathroom when he hears the shower. Crazy mutt.
My dog would take off at 40 mph whenever she heard water running, she hated baths.
LOL!
Welcome to the Undead Thread! AKA The Flying Castle. We’re currently in the asteroid belt. I think. Bob can tell you more about that. But we’re a thriving habitat, here. And you’re most welcome to stay, if you have a mind to.
Funny, both catz like to follow us into the bathroom and hang around. Wednesday particularly likes to hang around people using the toilet, and Shannon wants to lie on the bathmat while we’re showering.
Wednesday was a rescue at a fairly advanced age (9) so who knows what she’s been through! We got Shannon at 4 months; I don’t know what her thing with showers is about!
Any ideas as to why?
No idea lol, sounds gross.
They think it’s “perfume.” The reason dogs roll in foul-smelling (to us) stuff is to make them more attractive to the opposite sex.
Besides: It’s fun to be smelly! (Check out their smiles when they do it!)
That looks like some of the scenes on the way to Bodega Bay (where “The Birds” was filmed.)
Interesting, though! How are you liking your vacation?
Nice tree, and I have no idea where “Fantasy Island” was filmed, although I watched it when I was in high school. Even then, I knew quien es mas macho, and that’s Ricardo Montalban!
Strange thing about that cat. She had kittens but couldn't nurse them. Her teats didn't produce milk. Her momma nursed them. We had her fixed after that.
Great huntress. We woke up one morning to find five mice laid out in a row, neat as could be on the front porch.
I should have taken a picture of it. She practices take downs on the Chihuahuas. She'll run up along side them, throw a paw around their neck and goes for their throats !
Lol. The dogs are not amused.
I could tell you what my cat does to mice, but it might be close to dinner for some here, so I won’t.
I’m sure the dogs feel negatively about that! Shannon hunts bugs with some success, and she’s very interested in the gerbil, the fish, the lizards, and the snake - but hasn’t caught any of those.
Wednesday is only interested in what’s in the bowl.
Ricardo Montalban was always a hunk. I loved his B&W movies!
I had a cat and a pug that thought they were twins, since they were marked alike. They loved the “takedown” game. Along with tag!
His face was fine, and his build was robust, but his voice would send any healthy Spanish-speaking female to the hospital with palpitations.
Ay-yi-yi, yi-yi!
Si’. Esto macho. :fanning face:
When I dream about Mexico, Ricardo Montalban is the narrator. Que suave, que rico ...
He recorded lots of educational history and culture films that I saw during my many years of Spanish class :-).
He is the epitome of Mexico. Well, him and Duncan Renaldo...but he was probably before “your time.”
I’ve seen Duncan Reynaldo, too. Oye, guapo! Placido Domingo also grew up in Mexico.
