In fact, it is Aldo Nova, and not Richie Sambora we hear playing guitar on Bon Jovi's debut smash hit, "Runaway" (Even though Sambora--an accomplished studio guitarist & performer in his own right--was hired on as a permanent member of Bon Jovi around this time, and it is him we see playing the solo in the song's video.)

Good song... do you think that guy could have squeezed another set of pickups on that guitar? I counted 3... possibly 4. LOL!
Oh yeah... I recorded it off the radio on to a cassette tape. I was a one hit wonder fan, so I didn’t buy a lot of albums back then. All my allowance money was saved up to buy AC/DC, Cheap Trick, and Van Halen albums.
Tommy Emmanuel is just amazing. He’s Aussie, right?
I also like Andy Mckee, same kind of acoustic thing.
