A woman came home to find her husband in the kitchen, shaking frantically with what looked like a wire running from his waist towards the electric kettle. Intending to jolt him away from the deadly current she whacked him with a handy plank of wood by the back door, breaking his arm in two places. Until that moment he had been happily listening to his Walkman.

No, I don’t think I’ll wake up today. It’s that kind of day.

Trying to clean house. House won’t clean.

I was outside for several hours planting my flowers, got half of them in pots.

I am kind of in a time warp myself. ;0)

It’s too drizzly to play outdside and the next few days are supposed to be dry and get hotter; there’s a good chance we’ll be well over 90º for 4 days starting Saturday. That’s not my cuppa tea, either.

Know what you mean. Time warps are weird. You can’t even twll how long you’ve been in one. Sometimes I think I was born in one.

Temps for us tomorrow are going into the 90s, I have to go for a DRs appointment! Yikes. It was pleasant today, warmed into the 80s I am okay with it, tomorrow I don’t know. Just have to deal with it, I don’t have the a/c installed yet.

I needed vast quantities of coffee all day today, too, and still haven't moved satisfactorily.

Probably is from The Grudge.

My yawning fits are 8-9PM and then I wake up. Go figure.

Today's FEEBLE

YOKE:

This happened on a flight getting ready to depart for New Orleans.

Jack was sitting on the plane when a guy took the seat beside him. The guy was an emotional wreck, pale, hands shaking, moaning in fear.

'What's the matter?' Jack asked.

'I've been transferred to New Orleans; there's crazy people there. They've got lots of shootings, gangs, race riots, drugs, poor public schools, and the nations highest crime rate.'

Jack replied, 'I've lived in New Orleans all my life. It's not as bad as the media says. Find a nice home, go to work, mind your own business, enroll your kids in a nice private school. It's as safe a place as anywhere in the world.'

The guy relaxed and stopped shaking and said, 'Oh, thank you. I've been worried to death about moving to New Orleans, but if you live there and say it's OK, I'll take your word for it. What do you do for a living?'

'Me?' said Jack. 'I'm a tail gunner on a Budweiser truck.'
