You’re right! I got the wrong guy.
Guen, it's humid here in Arkansas too!! I might try a lighter frangrance this time of year :)

Per Fox News he helped to make the pantsuit more fashionable. Feel free to go with this.
My first thought.
I remember seeing him as a mystery guest on “What’s My Line” on the Game Show Network. The segment looked to have been filmed in the early sixties. YSL was very young and I was struck by how extremely shy he appeared to be. I always thought he had a great name for a designer. May he RIP.
It was Yves Saint Laurent who paired women’s pantsuits with high heels, which I just love.
I used to smoke YSL cigarettes (yes, he had his brand on cigarettes) back in the late 80’s.
I was too cool for the room.
I don't yearn for early St. Laurent. I do for early Dior:
I was going to say I liked it until you pointed out - quite correctly - that it looked very Partrich Family.

Early Dior is brilliant. These days, Kleibecker is pretty nifty, though he doesn’t do two lines a year. YSL’s stuff is normally very classy, though... trapeze and maternity fashions aside. :)
