My result 88.33 or 53/60
College seniors know astoundingly little about Americas history, political thought, market economy and international relations (result 54.2%).
This low result for University seniors is hard to believe when the average taking this on line is 72.2%. At the top of the University heap with 69.56% is Harvard University (lower than the average Internet surfer).

I got a 90% too and that stinks. This is exactly what I teach! I must be brain dead from the school year which is about to end in a week or so.

This ping list is for articles of interest to homeschoolers. DaveLoneRanger has asked me to take over the management of this list. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping List. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added or removed from either list, or both.

I’m pleasantly surprised to get 80%. Not a good HS student.

Didn’t you find some of the answers to be a little odd? I got a couple right because I knew what they wanted but for my money they didn’t have the right answer to choose from. As a couple of other FReepers have noted.

We missed a couple of the same questions. I think the answers could be protested with some success.

A couple of the ones I got right could be protested too. They didn't have a right answer just a least ridiculous answer. I do admit that most of the ones I missed were my bad. What can I say? In my high school Am. History class the teacher never got around to the subject of American history. Nor my jr. high Social Studies teacher. He talked more about sitting around naked at home. That really grossed the girls out because he was a pudgy little bald guy.

Yes. I have to thank Free Republic for my score being as good as it was. I am way more awake to politics and political history than I was as a physics major.

I can thank Free Republic, Rush Limbaugh and the many carpenters I worked with over the years. My father too. He deserves a good share of the credit.

You got it. The local community colleges are more interested in educating, than philosophy, and the really liberal professors are at the Ivy League schools.
