They’ve started playing his stupid re-election radio commercials here in the lowcountry. I have to turn it off for my mental and physical well-being.

The worst Republican Senator is Ted Stevens.
A crook, liar and big spender.

That's a description of every senator in Washington. Stevens is a bit of a dunce ("the Internet is like a series of tubes") but he's usually there when a conservative vote is needed.

What, for example, could possibly have possessed Graham, in April of 2006, to write an essay for Time magazine about the virtues of Hillary Clinton?

Theyve started playing his stupid re-election radio commercials here in the lowcountry. They're playing them here in the Upstate, too. I'm glad they're running them because it's a helpful reminder of who the enemy is.
Pansey Graham is with the enemy.
BTW, I quit the Republican party. Had enough.

South Carolina knew, or strongly suspected, he was gay--they just figured as long as it was not a central issue, and he would represent a conservative state as he promised--they voted for him. South Carolinians all know Mrs. Grundy's son who operates the flower shop is "sweet" but they wouldn't hurt Mrs. Grundy's feelings for the world and they buy the Homecoming mums from her son. That's called minding your own business--and we expect the florist to do the same.
"Bigots" indeed.

Yes, I think that everyone more or less knew that Lindsey was gay, and as long as he was doing a good job, no one cared. He should have just come out and admitted that he was gay and said that it was a private matter and would not interfere with the job that he does for the people of South Carolina. He should not have let the gay lobby bully him into the McCain camp.

He doesn’t show much evidence of being unwillingly in the McCain camp. I laughed at how the writer of this compared Lindsey to a valet.
