Even though stock price is off over 50%, this is still a good short IMO.

I’m convinced that sooner or later the good nannies of government will be coming after our coffee and products containing caffeine in general. “Energy” drinks are all the rage with the younger generation.

Paying more per gallon for a cup of coffee than a gallon of gas, but complain about gas. Get those priorities right!

So does this mean I can drop my quad shot down to a triple?
Good deal, it saves me a bit of $$

Can we sue them for manipulating the caffiene levels like people sued tobacco companies for what they did to nicotine levels?
Caffiene addiction: its not a pretty sight. Oh the humanity!

A Starbucks in Sun City could start offering “The Geezer Gulp”, containing vitamins and Viagra. Or the “Latte Lipator” made with heavy cream, or perhaps “The Memory Mocha” though no one can recall what to put in it.

“containing vitamins and Viagra.:
Or prune juice and Viagra, but then you wouldn't know if you were coming or going.

All I want is just a good cup of coffee. If I want more in it, I can put it in for less than $5 a cup.
But I do think Starbucks is doing a good job of removing money from those who seem to too much.

Check out Smoothie Factory or even Baskins and Robbins, it's all about the up sale. Well even McDonalds, “Ya want fries with that?” Anyone who goes into a Starbucks knows whats it's gonna cost, at least from the second time on. Tell you the truth I think Starbucks coffee tastes like tobacco. I'll take Waffle House anytime.

Even McDonalds beats Star5bucks stuff. About a century ago I worked for a Waffle House and their coffee was always the best and being free helped.
Thanks

I think McDonald’s uses Paul Newman coffee which is not bad.
