When I worked in Canada in 1999 then President Clinton visited Quebec. He opened his speech, “It’s great to be France...” The Canadian press was all over his gaffe but not one word did I ever see in the US press.

Perhaps Herr Hussein Obama is adding Israel to the number?... Or is it the Palestinian territories instead? The way things are going we’ll be lucky to complete ten more years without becoming a colony of China and a territory of OPEC. Give the dolt a break, he’s misspeaking more without his teleprompter ... he’s visited a few states more than once, hence his ‘57’ remark.

I think you are right. If you read carefully what he said, it was 57 and one more to go. Plus he didn’t get to go to Hawaii and Alaska.
Amazing. I need a new flag. Mine only has 50 stars.

I is almost as if he thinks “AlaskaandHawaii” are one state by the way he moved his hand out there.

57 States gives Michelle more real estate to not feel proud.
To: Verbosus
If this were a Republican, say, President Bush or VP Quayle, we would never hear the end of this. Let’s see how the MSM treats this.

And just a note ... he probably did turnaround and count the stars in that flag, and he got sixty, not fifty! His gaff was an effort to try and figure out the sixty if someone asked specifically.

Let's pick on him for everything he believes--there plenty of that to find fault with. Plenty, now we can include being a dumb ass.
