Pens seem off.
It seemed to me that the PENS had trouble passing and handling the puck early in the 1st period and even thru the rest of the game. Something was definitely off. They played much better in the 2nd and 3rd but still not up to their normal level. Hpefully this will wake them up and they can finish this in the Burgh on Sunday.

That was as bad as I've seen them play for a long time, and they were still able to come back and make a game of it.
Jordon Staal, coming back from his grandfather's funeral on Wednesday, scored 2 goals to lead the charge.
I hope that this will be a ‘wake-up call’ for the boys. We did get a split on Flyers ice, which is what any coach would be happy with in the playoffs.
I'm looking for the Penguins to close this series out on home ice come Sunday.
