My four Dachshund's and I are very glad Bridget is doing better. Time to heal and your love is all she needs now. Great Job Bridget!!!
She's a beautiful dog. Prayers for her continued recovery.
Bless your heart. Right now she’s being spoiled with her favorite canned dog food, at least for a week or so.
And I’m not a big fan of Tramadol either and hopefully we can take her off it soon.
Love and prayers for both the beautiful furkids. How good they are to us! It’s so moving to see your love for them....dogs will endure anything for their beloved owners.
Once she gets through the immediate post-op pain, she should enjoy not having that following her around . . . .
Our house is sending our prayers. We know the value of a true four-legged friend. It’s not to be taken lightly.

Aw! Daisy doesn’t have a wrap. Just her shaved, gray belly. But the pink sutures are nice! How is Bridget this morning?

Thanks for asking. She tried to head out the door with me today. I suppose she was thinking it was time to return to the Vet, having been there two mornings in a row. (She normally well understands that I leave at this time alone for work) It was funny. They do make a fuss over her ...that must be it. And she’s much better today and can even climb and descend the stairs. Must have had a good night because she didn’t keep me awake with any whimpering.
How’s Daisy? I’ve checked back here looking for a picture of her ingested change. I do hope they were closer to a dime than a Susan B Anthony coin. And I can’t imagine what suddenly attracted her to light metal objects anyway unless it was simply satisfying the chewing urge. I once swallowed a quarter in college, but that’s not important right now.
I appreciate everyone’s sentiments, which I will pass on to her. Yes, she understands!
Sounds like her progress is “according to plan”. Hope she continues to feel better and better!
Prayers for Daisy’s and Bridget’s continued recovery! It is so wonderful that they’re both doing so well.
Daisy did the same thing! This morning, she thought when I was leaving for work that we were going for a ride, and waited to be lifted into the Jeep! Silly dogs! I’ll take pics of the coins tonight and post them. There really is a striking difference.
I am so thankful that Daisy is all right. I have been praying for both of you since you first posted about her being ill. I was afraid to check to see how things are going with her, and I can’t tell you how happy and relieved I am for both of you. I’ll continue to keep both of you in my prayers, and please keep us posted on how she’s doing.

Silly, yes - but just think how convenient she is to have in the car when you need change for a parking meter!
