It’s a technique which other artists said couldn’t be done. In the photo the painting is still being worked on and doesn’t show very well.
You got a lot out of it. What’s your creative side work at?

I’m fine, just finished a fun book and got it on line, and had the idea for another and I’m five chapters into it. (like that’s a surprise.) Knees driving me insane with nagging pain , but getting around and raising hell! Thinking of getting back into building ship models (I used to do that for museum donations), and then claim the value for a tax write off as a contribution. (a $10 material cost and a few hundred hours of fun research and puttering around on a card table sized workbench, you can claim $2,000-$2,500 for the model when you donate it. (I’m going to look for ‘Investors’ to fund me and share the tax write off.)

When I had time I would would work with clay, charcoal / pastels and do freehand still life and portrait drawings from pictures using the grid system that I learned in art school. I also used oils because I wasn’t good enough for watercolor paintings.
