I’m sure you dislike waiting in Post Office lines as much as I do!
Our local VFW has had collections for the troops, and so has the county library. But we’re going to have to buckle down and pay the postage for all Anoreth’s magazines; she’s got two car magazines and two outdoors/hunting magazine subscriptions. Just what young men like! It’s not the cost that bothers me as much as the packing and the line ...

Doesn’t the USPS pick-up in your area? If I think I’m going to face a line, I weigh the package, calculate the postage online and schedule a pick-up. Much easier!

I bought some wine at Wal-mart today, and when the scanner beeped, the cashier just looked at me and shook her head :-). I guess I look over 40!

They probably would, but my kitchen scale doesn’t have the range for a big box of magazines. Maybe the bathroom scale would. Good idea!

Lol. I just had some fish and corn, which is about the healthiest meal I’ve had in weeks. Too much of the afore-mentioned fat and salt lately.
