I’m usually in bed by 6:00, local time. I read for an hour or two before I fall asleep, but if I stay up later (say, ‘til 8:00) it screws up my system, and I have a minor relapse. It’s just better if I do what works for me.

We have so much spring my allergies are having a field day. I was at a friend’s house this morning, and my sinuses drove me crazy. I come home, and now I have a sinus headache. Oi. Las Vegas Valley...

Folks who’ve never had allergies, move here, and within three years, they have so many allergies they wander around in a drugged haze.

The mulberry trees are shedding their liddle gween snakey things, so vehicles are being coated with sticky stuff.

The truck is awesome! I got no complaints about it, and as soon as I get new tires, I’ll be heading for AZ.

One can figure, in Vegas that 3 out of 5 drivers on the roads (surface and freeways) are under the influence of SOMEthing, legal or not. So if you drive here, be sure you’re a defensive driver.

Driving....my Dad taught me:

Just assume that everyone else on the road is either trying to kill you, or doesn’t care either way, drive accordingly, and you’ll be fine.

Just going for a week. I had originally planned to go in December, then my brother said it would conflict with plans, so January was slated, but I got sick, so we chose February, and I got sicker, so I just cancelled it.

My tires are OK for the kind of driving I do here, but they are too old to make a five-hour trip in desert heat, twice in the same week.

I was in a car accident in ‘69 that almost took my life. I wasn’t driving at the time, but since then, I’m a defensive driver. Your dad was right. Be paranoid when you get behind the wheel...you never know when someone is out to get you.
