Huck has done his job well in this campaign and has given us McCain. I am certain that he has been promised that he will be rewarded by being given the HHS job in McCain’s administration (if he can beat the dem nominee, of course).

It usually is over before it gets here.

Sad, but true. That's what needs to be fixed. What the heck is Iowa and N.H. doing having such a major impact on the GOP? Madness..

Yah, but if it was impossible for Romney it’s even more difficult for Huckabee since Huck has 40 or so less delegates than Romney. It’s a pure protest vote in and of itself for Huck . . . and one that can get us to a contested convention as well. Also, if you look at Huck’s record and statements he’s more conservative than Romney. Completely reliable on the social issues, 2nd Amendment, and more fiscally conservative (witness Romney’s universal health care plan in Mass.). Basically, Huckabee taking enough states to deny the nomination to McCain would a) end McCain’s momentum so that he’s not a shoe-in at the convention b) give some hope of an outsider to the primary process being chosen. It’s your only shot . . . even if it’s one that looks too difficult.

We haven’t had a black man, a white woman or an Oriental Medicine man for POTUS. Interesting choices!

That's Oriental Medicine *Woman*! Click THIS LINK and scroll to the last page.

Looks like Dr. Tran is all for handing out Social Security Numbers to illegals and withdrawing from Iraq.

Meh.

You make a good argument.

Except for my strong dislike of Huck.

And if I vote for him, he’d likely think I voted for him.

Yech!

:)

thanks very much for your posts...

Why isn’t Huck dropping if he’s just McCain’s boy? Think it through.

Ego, Political Career and because he wants to be McCain’s VP.

The first two are automatically served by staying in the race, and the last is more secured the more delegates he gets - whether or not he stops Mc on the first ballot.

I am thinking of asking for the democrat ballot this time and vote for Hillary as I think she would be the easiest to beat. Please don’t think I want McCain to win....this year I really wish we had a “none of the above.”

It’s the only chance conservatives have. No reason to give up and start writing in “Mickey Mouse.”

I have! Of course he will suspend but only after what he and McCain agree is an appropriate amount of time beyond that of the Romney exodus. They can't make it "too" obvious!

I believe Mr. Keyes is still in the race. I will be voting for him.
