The Huckabee bridal registry idea may have come from press reports that Hillary Clinton had one in a store in Omaha. Supporter and billionaire Warren Buffet and friends encouraged others to help with furnishing the Clintons DC and NY mansions. The details of a Clinton registry have been disputed by their supporters as has been the Huckabee story, but the overall effect is that this is another similarity between the Huckabees and Clintons that is not flattering.

A certain Christian radio talk show host was bashing Fred today and promoting Huckabee. She actually played parts of Mrs. Thompson’s interview, but of course, not in it’s whole context in order to bash Fred. Pathetic.

You didn't write that you were (as far as I found). But, before I replied to the first time, I had checked out you last several posts and guess what I found. You were on Huckabee related thread seemingly disagreeing with FReepers who were badmouthing Huckabee. I drew a conclusion. Was I wrong?

I have taken issue with Rush on two of his positions: immigration (I think we should have more, not less immigration and that legislation should be passed that makes it easier for people to come here -- legally) and the position he took on Terri Schaivo -- Rush wanted the federal government to step into this state adjudicated matter.
