Two tears are trickling down the sides of my nose. But it's all right, everything is all right, the struggle is finished. I've won the victory over myself.

I love Mike Huckabee.

So, how much did the "Old Huckabee Place" cost you?

And did the old flim-flam man toss in a used Hoyt-Clagwell tractor to sweeten the deal?

That’s like dating the average “Pop-Tart” (Lindsey, Britney, etc...).

Ginger (Tina Louise) was a lot hotter than those overly popped tarts, and had a lot more class. Probably not psychotic, either.

That video is great - funny and yet deeply disturbing.

Someone should make a video on Amnesty to the same song, “Yesterday.” I’ve already written the words:

“Amnesty”

Amnesty - for 12 million here illegaly,
To be citizens of our country
Vote John McCain - get Amnesty.

Amnesty - also rhymes with Governor Huckabee,
He, too, favors instant Amnesty
For those here now illegally.

Why they want this so?
I don’t know, they wouldn’t say,
I guess it’s just the nice thing to do,
So what the hay - ay - ay - ay.

Amnesty, ask both John and Mike - since they agree,
That our country should give Amnesty
To millions here illegally.
To millions here illegally.

No way! He seems like a pretty cool guy. From what I can tell he’s a committed Christian.

Love his website....

I think I got a pretty good deal from the Huckster. He'd already sold the Hoyt-Clagwell....but he threw in 10 acres down by Simpsons Swamp for nothing!

He's such a good Christian.

I have attended over the last 30 years several of his revival appearances in local Baptists churches.

When I knew him he was some what nerdy.

He got lots of people poking fun at him for telling his class that he was going to quit teaching, go to Hollywood and work in a drug store to be discovered.

He once made the head of the local school board mad when he announced to his class that milk contained radiation.

The head of the school board owned the local dairy.

Tom was a really nice guy and I thought he was great on Green Acres.

It’s really awful that the current crop of writers and producers in Hollywood can not produce a quality show like Green Acres.

I have a very good friend who is one of the most stunning women I have ever seen. She has been in Penthouse three or four times. A few years ago we were invited to go to a mutual friend’s wedding. Our spouses were otherwise occupied so we went together. The wedding was postponed (aren’t they all) for some foolish reason so we went to the Chevy’s next door to the church for a drink. When we walked in the whole room stopped - literally. All of the men were going - well you know and all of the women were “that b$tch” - you could see it in their eyes. That was worth the whole trip.

Ridicule (a.k.a., mockery) is an inferior argument, in any case.

Yup, that's why the mudder hucker slung some mud with his superior Metamucil argument, which was an effort to ridicule (a.k.a., mock) Fred's age. In other words, mudder hucker exploited, for political purposes, his opponent's age and experience.

Put down the shotgun, unspun. You've already blown off one foot, save yourself from blowing off the other.

I suggest magnesium oxide, one each day. It's easier on the system than psyllium.

Fred Thompson's curmudgeon-conservatives may need to triple the dosage. Their "royal jelly" sure isn't doing the trick.

I’ve never - until this thread - heard about this bit with the dog. Does someone have a link that could tell me more?

Yes he did along with another boy just before they were 18 yrs old. I checked it out on snopes.

http://www.snopes.com/politics/huckabee/dog.asp

Read it yourself & decide if it was a try at a cover up. IMO Huckabee did try to cover up his son's behavior. Killing a dog for fun to me says mental issues.

I do think a lot of Christians are in for a MAJOR disappointment. And I do not say this lightly.

I think you are correct. I will not vote for Huckabee or McCain. I don't care for either of them. My gut tells me to stay away from McCain too.

I wonder if the Huckster is planning on doing to the National Republican Party what he did to the Arkansas Republican Party?

No need for Huckabee, the National Republican party is already doing that job.
