LOL, his story seems to change like his underwear. He was reported earlier it had been 3 years, then 5.

Cesear’s and the BIL trucks are pretty similar in style. Any clue how to find out the color of BIL’s?

The indictments allege that Laurean used a blunt object to steal money and an ATM card from Lauterbach.

http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/2347267/

Could be that came from when he killed her with the “Blunt object”, he then stole her money and card.

The indictments allege that Laurean used a blunt object to steal money and an ATM card from Lauterbach. - Okay, that's the robbery angle. The AP report said he forced her to remove money from her bank account on Dec. 14. Which is it? Of course if he forced her at the ATM, that would be a way that he got her PIN.

So what we have is a pre-meditated murder. IMO it appears that he planned to kill her and tried to disguise it as a random ATM robbery/carjacking.

He probably thought he had killed her and was prepared to just dump her body, her cell phone & car - then something went wrong. Perhaps she regained consciousness -so he panicked and drove her to his house to finish the job.

Now he has a bloody scene at his house and a dead body.

I noticed that truck zipping out of the parking lot after the ATM withdrawal by CL with the rag over the lens, BUT, someone CL??? with a hat on or the rag used the first time, came back to the ATM at least a minute and a half after the 1st transaction.

Clarification on CL’s visits to Mexican family:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,324752,00.html

Ramos Ramirez said Laurean and most of the Marine’s family moved to the U.S. more than 10 years ago, and he had seen Laurean only three other times since. The second time, five years ago, Laurean came for vacation and spent a few days with Ramos Ramirez’s mother, Maria Ramirez.

Laurean hasn’t contacted any other family members in Mexico, Ramos Ramirez said.

He said Laurean didn’t stay long, and didn’t say anything about why he was in Mexico or where he was headed next. Ramos Ramirez said he wasn’t surprised by the brief visit because Laurean isn’t very close to relatives in Mexico. His cousin seemed calm, he added.

“It was like any visit,” Ramos Ramirez said.

There were several cars zipping by in the background. There’s a pdf file for the State of North Carolina Indictment form, but I couldn’t link it here. It’s a one page fill in for filing Felonius Financial Transaction Card Theft (2612) and for Financial Transaction Card Fraud(2616).

The first is for taking the card, without consent with the intent to use it. The second charge is for using, with the intent to defraud, the card to obtain services/goods.

So I believe that covers the financial card theft and the financial card fraud. I wonder if the “attempted” and the “fraud” was because he attempted to use it that first time at the ATM, and he picked up a fraud charge because he actually did use it.

Latest from jdnews Laurean indicted on first-degree murder charges. The article includes a pdf of the official indictment charges. I think the AP report was wrong. It only indicates he took the ATM card and cash from her by force and used them, not that he forced her to withdraw cash (from what I can tell).

OK that didn’t work, but type in Laurean at the top in search box...that will take you there. Wondering if any of the LuareanO’s are related?

Thank you for that link Girlene.

So he did get $500 out when he used it, or that is what is stated on page 2 of the indictment. Hmmm, that means if he got her 700 + the 500, that makes 1200 total, wonder if he also charged the items at Lowes on it!

Info through Gretawire EMail from OTR producer in Mexico

"It seems that no one is really interested in finding Cesar Laurean down here, and there’s a reason why. I just got off the phone with NC DA Dewey Hudson and he said that although he has filed all the necessary paperwork om his end, a judge in Mexico needs to sign off on a warrent for the arrest of Laurean and this has not happened. The paperwork has not made its way through the chain of command, so there is no tipline, no mexican 800 number and local and national law enforecment aren’t going to look for someone without a warrent. Also I am asked Hudson if he has any concerns that if La_rean is caught, he could thwart extradition by claiming to be a Mexican national?? I am waiting on a response. Also, according to locals, prisons down here are not as bad as we are led to believe. Some prisoners even have cell phones and visiting mistresses."

I guess there needs to be a number of payoffs in advance for the actual capture to take place
