This would appear to be in violation of any license ethics codes. It seems consistent with a move toward Jerry Springer style therapy.

If he is indeed a real Doctor, then yes, it is an ethics violation and he could lose his license- unless Twitney was dumb enough to sign some release.

Before I heard about this happening, I though Dr. Phil was scum.
Now he's removed all doubt.

Dr. Phil is a candidate for my "Man in Space" program.
Brittney is a candidate for my "Spaced out Woman" award.

I wish Jim Henson were still alive. I think Dr.Phil would make an excellent Muppet character. Like a pink fuzzy pencil eraser with a mustache.

HE needs a glass bottom row boat to paddle around in the sewers, looking for smut and sensationalism. All the idiots who are addicted to trauma (their own or anybody’s) can have 24/7 the social and domestic malfunctions of celebrity idiots aired for public enjoyment.
It’s not much different than going to look at freaks in the circus.

Actually, Dr. Phil is no creampuff. I watch his show and have been impressed by his moral and sensible approach to most issues. He presses people to honor their commitments, work hard, and break bad habits.

The man is a total rip-off of Dr. Laura's act, and not even that good of a rip-off.
Lib Jews couldn't stand Dr. Laura, but they did see a commercial opportunity that was going unmet, so they cooked up this DWEEB.
What a scum!
Rot in hell, Dr. FILTH....

Dr. Phil is beyond caring.

Dr Phil, called into help Spears family as Britney melts down, went public with plans to air it on a special "intervention" show. So, what we have here is a messed up kid with no were to go courtesy of Hollywood, crying for help and a pompous blow hard knowitall exploiting this poor kid's bad choices and misfortune.
What it saddens me is the fact that a large percentage of Americans find this "entertaining", instead that it is pointing out a slow but sure destruction of a very young life of a women who does not know were to go in this complicated life.
What if...this was your own Daughter?...Dr.Phil???

Britney made the choice to follow in Dr. Phil’s footsteps, when she decided to become stupid, fat and bald.
