Damn! He found Drew Peterson’s reusable plastic barrel.
That is one fishy story!

WTFIIWNM?
Fishiest story I've heard, since the midget fell into her freezer & froze to death in Northern Exposure.

It could happen in NM.
I mean folks still die from the plague here.

More proof that cats are evil creatures.

Looks like the husband dragged the barrel in the house and tried to drown her and the cat.
He succeeded in drowning the missus - but not the cat - so he had to rewrite his story!

I don’t buy any of his story. He did not need to tie any barrel to any door. They don’t tip over. He picked her up, and stuck her head down in the barrel. He was thinking of the picture of a child falling in a 5 gallon bucket and drowning. Her top half was not heavy enough to pull the bottom half in.

Solano said the couple had dragged the plastic barrel inside their home because they wanted to thaw ice that had formed in the barrel.Any idiot knows you toss in a plugged in toaster to resolve that problem.

How does the husband know that she was trying to rescue a kitten if when he returned she was dead and the kitten was not in the barrel?

Misdirected tree hugger done in by her own equipment.
At least she reduced her carbon footprint to near zero.
