why it didn't occur to me immediately is kinda goofy.I am a Dish dealer and had one of the first 8 gig versions (6 hours record capability) in 2000 and was on one of the live threads here during a Republican debate.
I couldn't figure out why everybody was posting so much faster than me...LOL.
My new ViP722 has a 500 gig HDD.

Love Dish Network— Had Directv for 8yrs and was never happy with their cust service or equipment. The changeover about 4 months ago has been a wonderful transition.
