“Yeah, I guess it all comes down to how badly you wish to get rid of your rat problem.”
Rats can do $40 of damage very quickly.
Bump to your post.
I am a 10 percent bleach spray bottle believer myself.
Those rats are smart but mean little buggers.
I wonder with the ice storms in the midwest how invasive their rats are right now.
And with the flooding/mudslides here in Oregon I see the folks on the news stories knocking out sheet rock to repair before mold sets in and all I can think is the rats I bet are moving in while ya’ll repair them walls.
Our local news is calling all the national bad weather “of Biblical preportions”.
That is why I like KATU they don’t buy into the Al Gore Mother Earth bull crap.
I saw the Oregon mudslides on the news...yikes. Hope they are not near you! Be safe!

Thanks Grammy.
Indeed. That’s why the cost of this product seemed more than reasonable to me, especially with the results I get.
I’ve had Baxter about a year now, he’s even taught the squirrels to stay in the trees (no more digging up lily bulbs). He’s taken care of the rodent population, even the moles that were plowing up the yard.
To make it even better - he’s a good people cat, an asset indoors as well.
+1 on the JRT
I have a full house with these guys.

I’d recommend against the ultrasonic rat repeller things because although they use sound frequencies that are undetectable to the adults that develop them, kids, teenagers, and other animals can hear them, so they might drive your dogs a bit crazy too.
Thanks I wondered about that.
And I don’t want to repel the wild bunnies, squirrels, birds or deer.
Nope, just one. And that’s enough!
You’re no fun.
