I saw that as well. I imagine he was responding to a verbal taunt from a Patriots player.

From what I heard, Harrison was saying that Boller had turned back into Boller.

after all, refs call on guys for getting in *their* faces too. A coach getting that? Amazing.

If Harrison had done so, it'd probably have been a penalty, but Harrion wasn't in Billick's face. He was more than 5 yards away...probably about 10 yards.

Regarding the Watson play: if you see the play again, watch the defender kiting on Gaffney’s jersey too.

Never mind for right now that that TD was extremely uncontrolled (never lost control? no way!)

Watch the right hand.

No, still don’t see it - even with that garbage-quality tiny video compared to my HDTV 57”.

It was out of control.

All this fussing over whether or not Ellsbury made the catch or not. I don't get it. The guy had control of the ball as he left the endzone. Nowhere is it written that you must securely hold the ball when you catch it. You simply must possess it and have control over it.

I think the NFL is starting to get sissified like the NHL with all these rule modification. I'm an old-fashioned football fan who would rather see a 16-7 grudge match in the mud where the ball is rarely thrown than to see a high-scoring game with all those fancy, over-protected quarterbacks dancing like ballerinas and not even getting their uniforms dirty. I want to see dirty uniforms! And mud. Lots of it.

I'm the type who doesn't think the ground should cause a fumble. The ground doesn't cause a fumble! If the ball squirts loose before the whistle, it's a fumble. Simple as that. And if a receiver catches the ball, he catches the ball. I'm not going to argue over whether or not he "securely" held the ball or not. But if the ball squirts loose, it's a fumble.

He was mocking Billick about his chosen QB (Boller) reverting to form and making dumb passes - at least that's what I get from it.

Yeah and it would have all been moot if the Ravens offense hadn’t gone to sleep in the 4th quarter. The Ravens had several chances to put the game away and they didn’t get it done.

Hey, that’s their normal selves!

Actually, they still did very well even in the end. But, I figured they would choke. I just didn’t expect it would be the last minute; more like 25 minutes.

This shows pretty well the holding penalty...the ball was on the Baltimore 13 yard line, and this is clearly on the three yard line...contact at more than five yards, and a fist full of jersey to boot. When you watch the movie of this, a frame or two before and a frame or two after shows the jersey being pulled downward.

The guy really does sound like a dumb ass for complaining about it. Can't get much more flagrant than that. The only thing more pathetic than a poor loser is a poor dumb ass loser who is guilty as sin. I detest the whole thug cult that is the Baltimore defense. The offense seemed pretty straight up, though.
