So very young for this to happen. May God rest his soul.
I’ll bet there are some happy folks at your house tonight! Way to beat Oklahoma!
It is. And if you really want to be laid back, you can even buy the meatballs premade, and the yellow, red and green peppers cut to the right size in the freezer aisle. Canned chunk pineapple works better than fresh, too.
So all you have to do is cut onions to the correct bite size. Throw everything in a crockpot in the morning, then just make rice when you get home. Voila! Dinner ready in about a half an hour.
If you’re a vegetarian (I know most of us in here aren’t), you can use tofu squares instead of meat balls. I’ve tasted tofu, but have never used it in this recipe. Does it melt? I don’t know. You might have to brown it in some canola oil, then at the end add it to the rest of the stuff.
I think TD has the correct answer. LOL!
Hillary got new Hsu’s - after the first set was recalled to jail.
I’ve never bought a Starbuck’s coffee in my life. I did have one on an Alaskan Airlines flight, though. It was okay. Nothing to write home about.
We have a Starbucks in the Barnes & Noble bookstore near our place.
It bugs them when I walk in - if I don’t already have a cup of coffee from the van - and order a “A cup of coffee.... With a creamer.”
I agree with both of you. Who the heck cares.
We have succumbed to the AZ weather. Dishwasher, sinks in the kitchen and washing machine are backing up. Our plumber comes out on Monday. We think it’s a tree root. Just dang. The rest of the house in unaffected.
Another reason for home delivery. Gosh, I keep saying that.
Well, you’re a youngster...
It’s hysterical. Last night we watched “Cars.” I had never seen it before. It’s animated. Just dang funny and sad and happy.
I loved Uggs. When I left CA, I gave them to my mom and sister. I had green ones and black ones. They are so comfy. It’s kind of like walking barefoot on a bunch of sheep.
Good one! I’m laughing loudly here.
Those are like the priest, rabbi and (I’m sorry) attorney jokes. LOL!
Hehehehehehehe!
Joke night I see. LOL!
I know about the heat. I used to go to Palm Springs and Las Vegas a lot, so I thought I knew about the heat. I found out I knew diddly squat about the heat until I moved here. I lived here for one year when I was 11 or 12. I didn’t remember the heat. It’s like a little kid all bundled in in a snowsuit in the winter. It didn’t matter to me.
I can’t go outside for very long because for six months a year it’s gets to 10 UV rays in ten minutes and a bad sunburn to boot. So you go from home to garage to grocery store (or wherever else you need to go), but you can only make two stops on any given day. It’s too hot in the car even when the A/C is on full blast. I’ve burned my fingers on the steering wheel. That hot.
But right now, it is perfect.
50 degrees during the day is not bad, though. I could still wear light-weight clothing. I’m used to the cold, but Cyber hates it. I mean he’s from Michigan. He froze to death there.
So we’re having a problem with where we will move when we retire. I still want to live in AZ for a lot of reasons, but I want higher elevation so I get at least some rain and a spot or two of snow.
The town “I” want to live in is Prescott (pronounced “Prez’ cut). There’s a whole bunch of tunnels under the town. Maybe a ghost or two. The Chinese lived under the town in well-built deep basements. Ooooooh, that would be so much fun to discover one. I already know the name of my “ghost child.” I’ve got the whole thing planned. My imagination gets the best of me sometimes.
Cyber says I got the name from Edgar Allen Poe.
I saw it on the Weather Channel. Chilllllly.
That’s me, except for I like iced coffee. I had coffee today for the first time in months. I get way too hyper when I drink it. ZOOOOOOOOOM!
Now you’ve got me wanting to vacation in Prescott, to go exploring.
