True.
Still, I like to be warm, and I like to think most other people do, too. With the possible exception of a few who shall remain nameless, lest my comments cause them discomfort....

LOOK! You got DC’s favorite number!
I suppose everything is “relative,” if you think about it. But “cold” to me, is anything below 100. People hate to come to my house in the summer, because what is “comfortable” to me if extremely UNcomfortable to them.
The only thing I don’t put into the “relative” category is chocolate.

It’s the only place in the world (that I know of) that you are free to drive across “borders” without having to show papers of some kind.
To me, that’s pretty darn good! And the fact that most of it is populated is a good indication of “heat/cold is relative.”

We did, but that was in 1969. We were also warned about cars with Russian plates. If we saw one, we had to call in all the information we had: type and color of vehicle, speed, direction, number of occupants, and where it was at the time we saw it.
We actually got to see one, just outside the little village we lived in. What a rush!

Yah. Our first was in 1997. It was eerie to drive from Germany to France straight on through an abandoned checkpost. It almost looked like something from a wild west movie... trash and tumbleweeds (or European equivalent) blowing though the place...

It's alright. I can hardly lay claim as itinerant as I've been.
BTW... The bank countered our offer. We countered their counter. Their Realtor needs to check with them on Monday, but it looks like we should be under contract by the end of the week next week.

Someone is getting a surprise under the tree.
