National Enquirer is a wacky source. I would put the likelihood of this being true at about 10%. Of course, I thought Gennifer Flowers was probably some kind of operative at the time, so my track record is probably worse than the Enquirer on these things.

Yanno, from reading the backstory, in this instance it seems quite possible that where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
I seem to recall hearing somewhere, can’t remember where, that Hilary Clinton had established some more recent connection to the National Enquirer, possibly via American Media, Inc.(?), in order to try to control potentially troublesome stories about her during the campaign.
Yap, wouldn’t surprise me if this Edwards story came straight from the camp of The Beast, true or not.
Does anyone know if the owners of NE are Hillary supporters?
My problem with this story is that Edwards maybe be stupid but surely not this stupid.
More likely from the Obama campaign to eliminate #3. Hillary would have won even without this story.
Jay Severin on 96.9 FM in Boston is talking about this story as 99% true and he is connected to inside media sources.
