LOVE curry!
But I don’t want to go to bed with someone who smells like it.
Same with kimchee. Love it, but I want it gone after dinner.

Many things that smell ‘bad’ are due our internal mechanism to avoid them. Name something that smells nasty and it’s almost always poisonous and or hazardous. This is nearly universal. This is a biological necessity. The antipodal sensations should be general corollaries as well.

I used to work in an office above an Indian restaurant. They started their lunch buffet cooking early, so when I arrived in the morning with my coffee and muffin the entire building smells of curry. How’s that to make you nauseous for an entire day.

I don't know, she looks like she'd smell fine to me.

Some things that smell 'bad' are not. It smells bad because the innate human response to fermentation almost always (I'd dare to say %95 + of the time) is revolting. Rotting is rotting.
I do like cheese BTW :)

I was just going to mention that I do not dislike the scent of durian. Of course, I am the only one in the family. When I eat durian I have to do so in the backyard.

I always thought God put our noses over our mouths so we wouldn’t eat spoiled foods.
So, all humans necessarily agree on smells.

I often get caught behind a guy that works for with me who powers his diesel car on soybean oil, he gets it from a local restaurant that fries chicken and french fries with it.
I something end up behind him on the way to work or on the way home.
The drive home is okay but in the morning, yuck!

Do you think Muslims would like the smell of Bacon if they didn’t know what was cooking?
