Looks like she’s starving herself to death...

I’m going to die, too. Somehow, I think I can deal with this undeniable fact better than poor Madonna can.

I was just sittin’ here at my computer, slammin’ a ‘samwich,’ and thinkin that at 50, I’m startin to look old. The twenty pounds I’ve put on haven’t helped any, and there’s all sorts of highlights in my hair I never had before....then I read this article.
I looked down at my hands as I type. “Yeah,” I say, “look at my hands.”
They’re nice and plump. I work them out vigorously several hours a day as I type responses on FR. Now I feel much better about myself.
Thanks, FreeRepublic, you’ve saved me! I am not a skinny, washed-out, over-bleached, muscle-bound mama, but I am a twenty-pound-overweight, graying-haired, mature woman of refined taste and nice, toned, younger looking hands.

No money in the world can fix that ugly mess.
Why can't Madonna just grow older gracefully? It has been done, after all...

This thread is in vein.

I guess on the positive side, she is married and bore children. More then I can say for a lot of feminazis. I think she is a massive perfectionist. Is this extreme? Yay. Do I have that sort of discipline. Heck no. This will no doubt in some way effect her children’s view of the body, especially the young girl, who seems a copy of her mother. So if there is tragedy here it will come out with the child or possibly the young boys will marry anorexics just as children of alcoholics marry alcoholics.
Madonna as usual is testing the limits. I think she thrives with these challenges and gets carried away. She just can’t be ‘normal’. It may very well be a disease though when it pertains to her body.
I unfortunately know more women then I would like that are this obsessed in their older years with their bodies. Some are very tiny and skinny, but when I ask what they eat it is basically nothing and they still exercise. Very sad.

I don’t have a pic, but her hands look like Roger Waters in the Pink Floyd at Pompeii video. Unfortunately, she’s not a bass-playing man...

I guess she should be fat, lazy and wrinkled to make people more comfortable.

Her mother died relatively young, so I’m sure that is part of what is driving her regimen.
