Have you ever seen "The Grass Harp"? I really liked that movie and Sissy was great in it. Unbeliveably, it was from a novella by Truman Capote.."Following the death of his mother, young Collin (Edward Furlong) goes to live with his two eccentric aunts, whose double-crossing antics make for a lively upbringing for Collin as he grows up in the Deep South of the 1940s."
great cast:
Piper Laurie ... Dolly Talbo
Sissy Spacek ... Verena Talbo
Walter Matthau ... Judge Charlie Cool
Edward Furlong ... Collin Fenwick
Nell Carter ... Catherine Creek
Jack Lemmon ... Dr. Morris Ritz
Mary Steenburgen ... Sister Ida
Sean Patrick Flanery ... Riley Henderson
Joe Don Baker ... Sheriff Junius Candle
Charles Durning ... Reverend Buster
Roddy McDowall ... Amos Legrand
Grayson Fricke ... Young Collin
Scott Wilson ... Eugene Fenwick
Bonnie Bartlett ... Mrs. Buster
Mia Kirshner ... Maude Riordan
Adam Crosby ... Little Homer Honey
Doris Roberts ... Mrs. Richards
Charles Matthau ... Barbershop R

I see women around here all the time who are slim as reeds, not a gray hair in sight and tight faces. What they don’t seem to understand is they don’t look young and they don’t look good either. It doesn’t take much facial surgery to make them look freaky. A very good friend of mine, in her early 70’s had her second face lift. Just between us, she looks awful.

The women on those shopping channels are just...disturbing. They all look alike. Different hair, same face.

$460,000. Demi Moore can certainly afford it but blowing that much on youth is an exercise in indulgent vanity.

Maybe she needs to bash President Bush more, then shed get more roles.
Won’t happen. She is Republican like Bruce is but not as outspoken as Bruce about it. However, I do think that I like the fact that more actors and actresses are finally saying they are Republican. It is refreshing. There have always been Republicans in Hollywood, but they had to be quiet. Even though today the wackos get most of the news, there are many great Republicans out there.

Your right. Even regular everyday ladies look completely different without makeup. I had this girlfriend back in the day who I did not see without make up except for this one time and “Wow!” Totally looking girl!!! I will admit that I was a little frightened. lol.

I stand corrected. Maybe I only heard that back when she was married to Bruce. What a shame. In fact the article that you posted was disturbing...

LOL. Sometimes I frighten myself. That’s why my best friends name is L’Oreal.
