What was the big surprise??? Sean mentioned it in his radio show...and would NOT say what it was. I'm out of town visiting relatives, and couldn't keep listening till the end of the show.
I would love to hear what the big surprise turned out to be.

What was the big surprise??? Fox news set up a video link live to Iraq and they had 2 soldiers on the screen. One of the soldiers Mom & Dad was on stage talking with them.
Awesome scene.
Tremendous show, was my first and I'll never miss one again.

Big surprise was Rudy Giuliani - I thought he did a great job.
Curtis Sliwa was solid. Gingrich, I give him a 9.5 - really awesome. Elizabeth Hassleback was OK and thankfully short time on stage.
The two best speakers, in addition to Newt, were Laura and Mark Levin. Mark is friggin hysterical...”the man”, so to speak. And Laura recounting her experience on 9/11 near the Pentagon was great.
I thought Ann dropped the ball a bit...just didn’t deliver too sharply - but hey, she was their and gave her time to the cause.
Ollie North was great too and having the satellite hookup to Iraq was very cool by Fox News.
Lee Greenwood - and all 15,000 people or so singing God Bless America - with everyone’s cell phone light swaying back and forth was a highlight for me...and of course “Proud To Be An American” brought down the house.
What a great night!
Was there with my mom - remembering my father Patrick “Joe” Driscoll who was killed on 9/11 on Flight 93.

LOL! Two guys passed by me wisecracking and praising Allah.. I chuckled and they said unfortunately not everyone here would see the humor in it.
We got inside the arena right before Giuliani came on stage.. must have missed the impersonator?
It's the second Freedom Concert I've been to.. The first one was in 2003 where Ted Nudgent opened the show. I think this one brought Everyone out because it was actually held on 9/11.. It's was an amazing time.. Even my two apolitical friends loved it!

That is great.. I wish I could have stayed longer, but we had to bolt as soon as the music ended.

I did the same thing.
Fellow FReeper, I found out, that in NJ if you register Democrat, you can have a greater influence over elections then if you register Republican. My goal is to drive the Democrats TO OUR RIGHT!!! I do have some considerable influence with some very top level DemoCrapts.
Just think of me as a Special Forces Member for State Politics.
Remember, I make these sacrifices for our greater good.
