Thank you!

I usually try to fly under their radar.

You can use the Abuse button, or you can address a post to one of the moderators. Just tell them what you want changed, and it will happen. Just like magic!

Moderators. They’re not just for trolls anymore.

I know, abuse is a negative sort of word.

But, here, it can help get stuff fixed, straight away, when the mods are alerted.

Regards....

The abuse button is for reporting abuse. Doesn’t apply here.

Quite wrong. It quickly gets the attention of a mod. It has been my experience that when you ask nicely, they are very willing to help fix something. I've never had any blowback from a polite request.

You could just ping the mods, but that can take a little longer.

Just wondering how to post an update to a thread I created.

First, hover your cursor over the right border of the page.
You will see a draggable arrow, drag it to the left.
You will now see a menu of editing options, select "add update".
This will pop up a prompt, select "existing thread".
You'll see a box highlighted yellow, type your password into it.

Click "Edit" and you are good to go.

Did you read the thread?

Of course. Do you have a point to make, or were you just curious?

JRios and ThreeLeftsWillDo had each already told me about bringing something to the Mods’ attention by using the abuse button and I had responded to each of them, so it would be obvious to anyone who had read the thread that I had been corrected.

So you pointed out again that I was wrong after you knew that I had been corrected by two people and after you had seen my responses to them.

It’s interesting to me that a person would bother to do that.

My system is based on treating others the way I would like for them to treat me, which includes being very hesitant to criticize or correct.
