Ungh...I accidentally slept in. At least it wasn’t to a point where I’ll be late for work, but no writing this morning. And we have meetings today, so nothing there, either.
I’m thinking handwriting the murder sequence during our staff meeting might not be a good plan.

The worst thing is that I’m totally incapable of concentrating on more than one thing at once. If I get distracted by a story *idea* in a meeting, I miss big chunks of what’s said. I can just imagine attempting to write, being asked a question, and babbling out something like, “...soaked in blood; but she deserved to die!”
This is just the sort of thread to have just before my big meeting in 6 minutes.... ;P

Yeah probably. A couple years ago, someone made a crime scene outline of a body on the floor with masking tape. Management freaked out and ordered us all to 'violence in the workplace' training.
Did you check her temperature? She could be faking it to get further ahead in the word count. :D
Good morning... I’m taking the day off. We had a client pull the rug out from under us, so I get a three-day weekend while my boss shuffles the project pipeline around. Woohoo!
And we get to spend the extra day taking our itchy-scratchy-driving-us-nuts Homer to the vet. Either he stops scratching, or...
