Calli, hello Calli, are you still hiding??
To: NY Attitude
I can’t really reply to that. I’m watching a movie called Idiocracy where a soldier volunteers for a experimental program that will put him in suspension for a year.
Something happens and he doesn’t wake up for 500 years to find earth a mess and everyone retarded. And even though he’s average intelligence, he’s the smartest man on earth.

Good morning everyone!
The Sound of the Trees
by Robert Lee Frost
I wonder about the trees.
Why do we wish to bear
Forever the noise of these
More than another noise
So close to our dwelling place?
We suffer them by the day
Till we lose all measure of pace,
And fixity in our joys,
And acquire a listening air.
They are that that talks of going
But never gets away;
And that talks no less for knowing,
As it grows wiser and older,
That now it means to stay.
My feet tug at the floor
And my head sways to my shoulder
Sometimes when I watch trees sway,
From the window or the door.
I shall set forth for somewhere,
I shall make the reckless choice
Some day when they are in voice
And tossing so as to scare
The white clouds over them on.
I shall have less to say,
But I shall be gone.

Gorgeous day here on the East Coast. I like pictures of crooked trees, they have so much character.
I guess I am not made for straight lines
I like a lot of zig zag
a surprise around a corner
can add laugh lines around one’s eyes
or hold nooks or terror
one never knows these things
but like a crooked bent up tree
they all hold a mystery for me.

Bonfires in the field by day
ambers glowing at night
a pile of rubble set to fire
to fertilize the site.
Have a wonderful day, Hope!
Gorgeous graphic, thank you.
To: Soaring Feather
I like that. Although a tree’s roots may have a crooked nadir, there is always a significant part of it that finds it’s zenith.

Balance.
Yupper, it’s balance, green things gotta grow toward the sun.

BTW, Calli came out of hiding. I am not sure if hunger drove her to come out or the imaginary demon that most cats just seem to perceive and they run around frantically for no apparent reason.

LOL
Well, you did through her into a tizzy by disturbing her rest, she is just trying to deal with cobwebs, did you offer her some strong coffee? Poor girl needs help. I hear cat psychiatrists are costly but do some good....chasing out demons that is!
To: Soaring Feather
Calli gets brattier with each passing day. If I work overtime she gives me hell when I walk in the door. She loves to chew on my plants. I just may have to resort to a spray bottle to break her of that habit. She will look me in the eye and munch away. She is no lightweight. She has gained weight since I got her from the Humane Society.
