We cannot understand what would have made something like this happen. . . .\Hayes has a long history of burglary and larceny convictions going back 25 years, and accumulated 23 disciplinary actions while in prison dating back to the 1980s, authorities said in court today./

There is NO mystery here. Liberal courts, Liberal Judges. . .lawyers. . .and constituency that makes it all possible. . .

This is such a horrendous and ignorant waste; a stealing of of lives; life and happiness; not only for the victims; but for all who must go forward, absent these people in their lives.

These perps were long-standing thieves. . .had they been appropriately dealt with; they would not have had the opportunity to steal the life from so many and so easily.

Yes, the Chinese have been doing that for many, many years.

“Granted. A man’s home should be his castle, but it shouldn’t have to be his fortress.”

In Texas he could have blown those goblins away and no one would have said boo. Might have even gotten a civic commendation for saving the state the cost of incarcerating the perps.

In Connecticut, it is guilty until proven innocent if you use a gun for self-defense, even in your home. So people decide it is too risky and avoid them. That just encourages bad behavior by goblins.

You should also get Mike Farrell’s opinion on this case.

A police source close to the investigation confirmed reports that Komisarjevsky, 26, and Hayes, 44, spotted Hawke-Petit and one of her daughters at a grocery store Sunday and followed their car home. Police gave family members the same account, said Glenn Petit, Hawke-Petit’s brother-in-law.

“They were attracted to the car,” he told The Associated Press, though he was not sure what model Hawke-Petit was driving. “They liked the car, followed her home, thought she lived in a nice house.”

People need to be packing. Having a shotgun would help, even when you sleep. I live in Memphis, TN and even sleeping, I have have my shotgun ready. This bedside gun rack type thing called a Backup is good — better than under my bed. There is a video on YouTube that shows the rack in use here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3GXYAzh8EQ I think that within a second or less I could pull out the gun and be prepared to protect my home.
