At least you can do that at home! How long does it take you to run four miles? Does the time change if you’re inside?
It took me about 37 minutes today. I go more slowly outside, because I don’t have the speedometer right there in front of me.
Ah. That’s not too bad. When we lived in LA, we would work out three times a week. I walked and my friend ran. We walked “out” 30 minutes and then walked back. He had a lot of trouble with his weight, but I was lucky, and didn’t have to really “work.” The problems I face now are lack of stamina and fatigue. (I envy you the ability to run and benefit from it.)
I’m fortunate in my health, it’s true.
Hiya!
Quiet. Slight headache, but I have my coffee sitting here so I’m better.
My mom was here for a week; we just sent her back to Tahoe yesterday. Good visit! I was slightly concerned about how it would go, but it was good.
You?
Got any 4’s?
(Looks like you’re going to wind this game!)
I know how those visits could be. I had one from my mother that almost drove me to drinking. It’s good that her visit turned out well.
Another migraine? {{{{{Sandy}}}}}
I’m good. My leg still bothers me at times, but I’m good. :o])
wind = win
Spell check wouldn’t help that...*sigh*
I don’t usually, either. I don’t know. Count calories, count fat, count carbs. I’m confused.
I don’t do any of it. I eat butter, red meat, cheese, sour cream, pork, whole milk, and I stay away from prepared foods. I can’t help but think all the preservatives and other gunk that goes into boxed meals are the main culprits in health problems today.
The food pyramid is wrong, too. Protein should be at the bottom, then vegetables, then grains, and finally fruits.
</ rant >
Nearly migraine, not quite yet. I took a pill.
I’m busy creating a spreadsheet that will walk my husband through every detail of our finances in the event of my untimely demise. He won’t discuss it (consideres the topic to be excessively morbid, I suppose) so I’m writing it all down.
He’ll thank me later. :-)
I just finished updating my Will again. I do it about every three years, and my kids think it’s morbid. I guess in their eyes, I’m not supposed to die.
I think everyone should take the care that you are with your finances. I don’t have much, but my Will is very clear on how to dispose of my things, such as they are.
When my own parents died, there were a lot of hard feelings because neither had a Will, and I want to avoid that. Kudos to you!
Here’s hoping your headache goes away soon!
Hopefully he’ll never need to read it, but you never know. I’ve got everything automated and he has absolutely no clue.
The good news is he’ll be filthy rich when all my insurance pays off, so he can hire a CPA to figure it all out. I guess I’m “LOL” at that. Let me think about it for a minute.
LOL!
Don’t think too hard about it. It might make your headache a real migraine, instead of a wannabe.
Wide Awake, now.
Thank God I have a good coffee maker!
;o]
hiya rottie! *HUG*
That looks suspiciously like a red x in a white box, Bob.
I never know. That’s why I provide a link.
Seems that it works one time and that’s all. Sorry.
“One ...”
*Crash*
