That’s rather scary, actually! Both of them on the same post...

Welcome to the Undead Thread! Charming is no longer among the living. He’s being paved.

Okay ... how are you? We’re doing some cleaning and maintenance. I just trimmed Wednesday’s claws!

“Do you remember the old joke about a midget woman with big ears, a flat head and no teeth?”

That’s just gross. Now I have to go wash my brain. Yuck!!!

I’m awake. Beyond that, I don’t know. It’s still too early.

The humidity is lower this morning, only sitting at 23%, which means it will be a lot lower as the day goes on.

How did Wednesday like having her claws trimmed? When I did Hobbes’ claws, I always gave her some Vaseline afterwards.

Wednesday hated it, but they were so long you could hear them going rip-rip-rip as she walked across the carpet.

LOL! Hobbes used to do that on purpose. She liked the sound of it, so she would extend her claws when she walked.

I just let the vet trim the cat’s claws when they get that long.

LOL!

Don’t like losing the battle, huh? If you start when they are kittens, they are pretty docile when they get older.

The vet wants to be paid! My husband put on a thick coat and gloves and held Wednesday still, while I did the trimming.

I was up too early too. But am rebuilding the Linux box. Made a stupid mistake Thursday and rendered it useless; took advantage of the fact to upgrade it to the latest and greatest (I hope) version of Kubuntu — 7.04, aka “Feisty Fawn.”

I’m waiting for a day when my brain is somewhat clearer so I can install Firefox. The last time I did it, PeoplePC kept refusing to give it default. So I uninstalled it, but it’s still got me slightly leery of trying to do something when I’m obviously impaired.

I just have to wait for the right day, then I can try it again.

Good luck! Unpacking my files now — the package terminated early so I don’t know what I’ve lost. The critical stuff is there, so it may be just some of the MP3s, which are on the MP3 player already.

Yep. That’s what I’ve always said. “I can beat up my sister, but let someone else try, and they’ll have to deal with me.”

I guess it’s just your perspective. We were fighting for independence, but to the Brits, we were rebels that had to be contained.
