He wandered in while I was feeding Vlad some Cheerios, and said, “Mama, the spider is in the schoolroom!” I said, “Oh, what’s its name?” “No, I don’t like the spider! I’ll throw the garbage containers at him!”
So I scooped the spider up in a bowl and put it outside in the flower bed. It was another of the big ones!

James’s “garbage containers” are large plastic building blocks. They used to be “space bugs,” but he changed his mind about that. Vlad calls them “teeth.”
