I know some guys have taken Medrol packs for inflammation in their wristsMedrol is a corticosteroid and is not the same type of drug as anabolic steroids.

Isn’t creatine legal?
IIRC, Smoothie King sells it in big plastic jars.

Have you ever seen Player in person?
The guy is like five-three or something. Not surprising that today’s golfers look like they’re on steriods to him.

Given the fact there is a big premium on flexibility in golf, the use of muscle mass building drugs seems counter productive.

I agree. Its John Daly. Body of a greek god. Or Jason Gore or Kevin Stadler.
I might believe drugs with John Daly, but my first guess on type wouldn't be steroids!

From 1923 to 1930 Bobby Jones captured an amazing 62 percent of the national championships he entered, winning 13 of 21 tournaments. He won five of eight U.S. Amateur Championships, and finished second in another. He won one of the two British Amateurs he played in. In eleven of the last twelve open championships he entered, he finished no worse than second, winning seven times. In 1926, Jones became the first player ever to capture the "Double," winning the U.S. and British Open Championships in the same year. In 1930, he accomplished the Grand Slam, winning the British Amateur, British Open, U.S. Open, and U.S. Amateur all in the same year.If any golfer thinks steroids are going to make them a great golfer, they are mistaken.
Perhaps they could hit the ball farther, but you drive for show,as any golfer knows, then there is the rest of story;)

That's why I suspect they aren't as widespread in baseball as we perceive. Sluggers maybe but most position players need the flexibility.

"Whether it's HGH, whether it's Creatine or whether it's steroids, I know for a fact that some golfers are doing it," he said. This guy is a blithering idiot if he's going to compare (legal, sold everywhere) Creatine with (illegal) steroids. He should have followed the maxim about not opening your mouth and removing doubt that one is a moron.
To: Mr. Mojo
The creatine mention aside, Player is considered as honorable person as you’ll ever find in sport full of honorable people.
If someone told him he uses steroids, I believe him.
Furthermore, he’s not hanging around guys like Boo Weekly, or Stewart Cink—he’s more than likely bumping into guys like Els or Sabbitini(sp?).
