Rare. A man with principles and he stands by them.

Custodian … Jeffrey Lee at an outcrop sacred to his clan. "I can go fishing and hunting. That's all that matters to me."

"It's my belief that if you disturb that land bad things will happen … there will be a big flood, there will be an earthquake and people will have a big accident."

Mr Lee said there were places on his land where the rainbow serpent had entered the ground that were so sacred, "I can't even go to them or talk about them.

Fascinating. Absolutely consistent with living close to radioactive dirt - don't plow.

As the sole surviving member of the Djok clan Mr Lee does not have any children to pass the land on to.

Hey, he could adopt me!!!

Thanks. Looks like a catastrophism topic, and perhaps a GGG topic. When I get home and get the chance, I’ll post something more relevant than this. :’)

Thanks Patton.

In Horus, a journal published by the late David Griffard, vol II no 1 (1985), Barry Fell was interviewed. Alas, DG went down in a private plane after the seventh issue. Among other things:
In the middle of Australia there is a group of three or four meteorite craters called the Henley craters. They're like the Arizona meteorite crater -- not so big, but there are several of them -- and, like in Arizona, the land was scattered with pieces of iron meteorite. I think the [inaudible] dating very slow growing desert plants. They believe that the date is about 5000 years ago -- the formation of the craters. The Aboriginal name for this area is the "Place Where The Sun Walked on the Earth" -- they must have seen it!

Thanks patton.
the only member of his clan, Jeffrey Lee... said there were places on his land where the rainbow serpent had entered the ground that were so sacred, "I can't even go to them or talk about them." ...This week Mr Lee took the Herald to a rocky outcrop overlooking the Koongarra deposit, a sacred place where, according to his clan's beliefs, a giant blue-tongue lizard still lurks and should not be disturbed. Here it is, painted on a rock hundreds, perhaps even thousands, of years ago, its jaw apparently bitten off in a mystical fight... "It's my belief that if you disturb that land bad things will happen … there will be a big flood, there will be an earthquake and people will have a big accident."
To all -- please ping me to other topics which are appropriate for the GGG list. Thanks.

"I can go fishing and hunting. That's all that matters to me."

And no doubt this man is a happier man than 99% of all people on the planet.

I dunno, look at his picture...

He’s gonna get swindled out of his land one way or another it’s clear.

Yep.

Is he going to have to pay increased property taxes on 5 billion value?

That's what they're doing to me and a lot of other folks in my NE town. Then maintenance gets deferred...and they offer you low interest HUD loans to fix up your house...then increase the tax value again next assessment.

They got these plans at city hall for a 'Greenway'. We're in the way.

If they can get us....they'll get him.

As the only membr of his clan, in the U.S. he would be on the endangered species list and have all sorts of protection and not to mention the celebrity given to the last of his clan by the Left enviros.

Hey, civilization needs that ore, and you can’t fight something that big and expect to win.
