Thank you Tude..
I am frustrated with the imaging program on this new computer..It is so different..I am pleased so far with the computer overall. I need to start reading the instructions and stay off the computer..LOL..I will have to send my “too many bytes” pictures to Lady Jag to resize until I figure this one out.( Thank you, Lady J)
I hope all is well with you.

I'm happy to hear that Thorn is younger than his looks and that he's happy now.
Rads, I miss your kitty photos.

I have something called “Gimp” I understand ACDSee..and never got the hang of Paint Shop really on my other now dead computer..That is going to take some real hard work for me..This has many of the paint shop features plus some not on my other computer..That is for another day..I just am trying to find the resize feature. I just started looking at this..I can’t get into the help section on Gimp..not good! I’ll call the tech that put this on the computer if I can’t resolve it. I started reading about layering and flattening awhile ago in the tips section and it was all Greek to me!

Only the digital photos are viewable till I finish off the film. I'm hoping the film came out better as that camera had a polarizing filter, better for those hazy days.
The film has some village photos on it, too.
This is a view of the Deerfield River:

And here is one of the unusual flowers I would like to identify.

It looks like a passiflora vulgaris.

I’ve heard of Gimp. It’s shareware, right?
Good luck with it.

Sorry to hear that you are a bit under the weather. I sort of suspected as much when your keyboard fell silent. Get well soon.

All is well with me here. Calli my cat is asleep in the corner. New computers can be a headache until all of the idiosyncrasies of the hardware and software become known. Good luck with that.

Thank you, NYA..Yes it is frustrating..I fell asleep very early last night while meaning to study my new laptop.. and am up early early this morning!
I did get to see my new very young, cute, raccoon visitor in the night..I put out lots of sunflower seeds for her/him and later put cat food out when I noticed she was limping..She reclines to eat mostly.
My kitty Silky was most interested ....glued to the sliding door.I think she sensed this one was a new raccoon. Silky was pretty casual about the older ones that were regulars until recently.

Wild creatures are indeed fun to watch. Other than typical birds, occassional squirrels and on a very rare occassion possum there isn’t much else going on in that department. Calli likes to watch them in wonderment and I guess envys them as she is an indoor cat. Hope that you have a grand day.
