Thanks for the ping.
That $262 million is all government funding and most of that is from state and local sources.
As I understand it, about $100 million comes from the feds via Medicare and Title X.
I'm not saying this undermines your point but it does have to be emphasized the extant to which the problem is state and local.
Oooops sorry----well, guess my humor runs a little more on the dry sarcastic side. I really tried to watch Seinfeld, but maybe I just didn't like the characters that much.....also the music drove me nuts. I'm also not one for obvioius or slapstick humor
I absolutely loved/love David Hyde Pierce as Neils, and also adored Dan Butler as Bulldog. Nope, afraid I can't think of a funnier, or better written comedy than Frasier, and boy do I miss it.
If it’s funny, I’ll watch it, if it sucks, I won’t.
I saw the first episode about a month ago...I guess it was okay....Patricia Heaton sure looked different....I didnt know it was her at first.
The grown up gay guy was really funny, and the little boy gay guy was very entertaining. Come on, they are only characters on TV and they were constantly put down for being gay. It certainly was not gay advocacy. They were portrayed as miserable and at time desperate. What more do you want, corporal punishment?
My daughter worked with Kelsy. Very nice to crew. Has feet problem which limit his mobility, and hence his career options.
Same here. I didn’t carer much for “Friends” or “Sex in the City,” either. Cultural clash. I guess. Plaid on stripes.
Pittsburgh was always a great town, even when the steel mills were going, because of the great people. In the last forty years it has totally changed. Love to fly into its airport.
The clip looked GOOD... I want to see more!
Glad to hear it. Now, I just have to remember to tune in.
Coincidence?
Positively amazing, since Heaton graduated from Ohio State and Hill from the U of Texas.
Oh, you have just hit on the other show I could never, never understand what people saw in it. Talk about one brainless example of situation comedy.....Friends. I don't know, maybe it's an age thing. I'm over 35 so maybe that's why I could never relate. Again, it was just too much of an obvious, in your face attempt at being funny.
No, and I didn't like SITC either, but must admit I didn't get that channel when it was popular and haven't seen the reruns, but have seen a few clips---perhaps not enough to fairly judge though.
No accounting for taste.
Patricia....conservative dream date....
I read that you prefer “cute” over “glamorous.”
GMTA
Never liked straight long hair. Big 80s hair was OK though. LOL
See post #40. Since her Everybody Loves Raymond days, she has had some ... er ... surgery. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)
Yup, you're right.... very subjective, you know :-)
