Everybody hates a winner. They hate a winner that’s seen a a whining winner even more. Besides, I think Duke’s still reaping the whirlwind from Christian Laettner’s behavior years ago, fairly or not.

Since I spent my whole life in Kentucky (prior to moving to North Carolina last year), I’ve been treated to years of Duke bashing from UK faithful. I believe every Duke joke I heard somehow ended with Christian Laettner involved in a homosexual experience.

You are sadly mistaken. But that's OK: UK has, after all, won the NCAA title more than twice as many times as Duke has.
