Sounds like the reporter is trying to get her killed too.
Latin guy hits child with his car at the Booker T. Washington complex on Juneteenth (a celebration of the emancipation of slaves in Texas); latin guy is killed by the crowd. Why would you think there is a racial angle to this story? The reporter didn’t mention it.
Imagine if this had been a white crowd that had done this to a minority.
The evening news would have a post set up in that town tonight! katie would be reporting from there.
Hate Crime, but MSM won’t call it that...see if the perpetrators had been white.. oh boy Hate crime? you betcha!
This is what passes for civilized behavior in many parts of America today.
And where was the parent/parents of this child?
And why was this child not in bed for the night?
Something like this could touch off a race war between blacks and Hispanics, especially with a contentious amnesty bill before the Senate.

For a little background: Austin has had a series of black and Hispanic shootings by the APD officers. (a Federal investigation is in progress) Tensions are very high and this situation is not surprising.
How are witnesses supposed to prevent attacks?
Journalists really need to learn how to write.

The child wasn’t even that greatly injured, from what the article tells us.
It was purely about their egos - not any sort of vigilante justice. They don’t even deserve credit for that.
